Lois Marie Gunn Lowery

Lois Marie Gunn Lowery – a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away June 18, 2012 at a local hospital at the age of 70. For over 30 years Ms. Lowery was a dedicated, compassionate nurse who truly loved her calling. She was a proud graduate of Providence School of Nursing then later in her career received her BS from the University of Mobile. Ms. Lowery is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Ann Lowery. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Katrina Lowery Taylor; son, Major Charles Edward Lowery, Jr.; grandson, Timothy Turner; granddaughters, Kyla Turner and Freya Lowery; brothers, Wiley Eugene Gunn of Mobile and James Carrol (Mary) Gunn; sisters, Carolyn Jeanette (DC) Rivers of Glen St. Mary, FL and Patricia Ann (Jon) Rials of Grand Bay, AL; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Powell Cemetery, Semmes, AL.
