Anita Doherty Roberts – a lifelong resident of Mobile County passed away Friday, November 1, 2013. A pharmacy technician for over thirty years and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Cody Road. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Reginald “Reggie” Roberts, Sr. and her parents, Jesse W. Doherty and Ora Doherty. Survivors include; one son, R. Leonard Roberts, Jr.; one daughter, Leisa Ann Hayes; sister, Barbara Ann Moore; beloved companion, Dale E. Pylant; six granddaughters; two great grandchildren; six nieces; two nephews; and many friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
