
Louise Riley Perkins died peacefully at a local hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2012.
A native of east Texas, she devoted her life to being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children: Dr. Lyndon (Amelia) Perkins of Tupelo, Miss., Kevin (Glenda) Perkins of Mobile, and Jill (Alan) Holley of Mobile; her grandchildren: Michael (Betsy) Perkins of Tupelo, Anna Perkins of Bearsville, N.Y., Nate Perkins of Tupelo, Judson Perkins of Mobile, Jacob Perkins of Mobile, Scott Holley of Auburn, Ala,, Jack Holley of Mobile, and Matt Holley of Mobile; and one great-grandchild: Evangeline Perkins of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Armstrong Perkins.
Pallbearers will be her seven grandsons. Honorary pallbearer will be special friend of the family Andy Andrews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon until 2 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Spiller will preside over a graveside service in Mobile Memorial Gardens at 2 PM.
