Louise Miller Zavros, born in Wagarville, Alabama on April 13, 1930, and a longtime resident of Mobile, passed away on November 4th, 2024. Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family greatly and served selflessly. When she wasn’t preparing meals, taking care of the household, or keeping the family business organized, you would find her and her sister, Margaret, in the yard planting flowers, feeding the birds, and tending to her “mama plant”. Louise enjoyed visiting with family and friends, hearing about how things were going in their lives, and telling them stories about her life. Visits with her always included a hot meal or a sweet snack. Louise was also a devoted follower of Jesus and always dedicated quiet time each day to pray for her family.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Frances Langford Miller, her husband, George Zavros; 3 siblings, Fred Miller, Frank Miller, and Margaret Miller, and a beloved great grandson, Noah.
Louise leaves behind her three sons, Marshall Zavros, Nick G. Zavros, and Mike Zavros; 5 grandchildren, Clint Zavros, Traci Zavros, George N. Zavros, Annie Holifield, and Mikael Zavros; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Committal service will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36605 on November 12, 2024 at 2:00pm. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
