Mrs. Margaret W. Palmer, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Mobile, Alabama on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Mrs. Palmer was a native of Monroe County, born to Edward and Margaret Womack on March 10, 1932.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Palmer.
Mrs. Palmer is survived by her five daughters: Carol Allman of Mobile, Ala.; Barbara Palmer of Mobile, Ala.; Jane (Anne) Palmer of Mobile, Ala.; Joan (Lydia) Palmer of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and Alicia (Mark) Crumpler of Mobile, Ala.; four grandchildren: Monica (Ray) Dumas, Mary (Mike) Frisch, Denver (Jenny) Crumpler, and Palmer Crumpler all of Mobile, Ala.; five great-grandchildren: Jessica (Brook) Pierce of Birmingham, Ala.; Chris Dumas of San Diego, Cali.; John David Dumas, Josh Frisch, and Paul Frisch all of Mobile, Ala.; as well as a host of cherished family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery, located at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama.
