Marvel "Margie" Long Beasley

She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and the Mobile Chapter #348, Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Beasley was honored by being elected Grand Ruth of the Grand Chapter of Alabama, Order of Eastern Star. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, who dearly loved to shop, she will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Beasley.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Steve) Knox of Milton, FL; two grand-daughters, Tracy (John) Walsh and Kim (Tyler) Sanderson; three great-grandchildren, Carson Walsh, Riley Walsh and Knox Sanderson; and a loving and caring friend, Sylvia Walding.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, October 3, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
