Mrs. Mary Frances Oberkirch Allenbach, age 92, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Clyde V. Allenbach, Sr. and parents, Ollie and Frances Allen Oberkirch. Mrs. Allenbach was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church. She was a resident of Somerby Retirement Home, where she enjoyed playing board games and was affectionately known as the "Bingo Queen". Her family will remember her love of the casinos and her love of family. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unconditional. Mrs. Allenbach is survived by her children; C. V. Allenbach, Jr. (Anne), Carl Allenbach, and Robert Paul Allenbach (Libby). She is also survived by her brother, Ollie Oberkirch (Betty), sister, Nancy Rydzynski and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2053 Government Street on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy.
