Mary Margaret Prather

Mary Margaret Prather – a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Loxley, AL, died Monday, February 27, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Robertsdale and a 1964 graduate of Convent of Mercy High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Leslie and Clara Lewis Moran, and a sister-in-law, Tami Prather Martin. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Terry Prather; children, Heather (Tim) Hallman, Hattiesburg, MS, Melissa (Jeremy) White, Loxley, AL; grandchildren, Claire Moran Hallman, Andrew Maxwell Hallman, Jackson Prather White; sisters-in-law, Debra Prather, Sherry (Dick) Miller, all of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law, Cary (Kaylene) Prather, Crane Hill, AL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10 A.M. with Reverend Patrick J. Madden as celebrant. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. She and her family have been touched by the care and devotion of the staff of Odyssey Hospice of Baldwin County. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Social Services, P.O. Box 759, Mobile, AL 36601. Pallbearers are Cary Prather, Peter Martin, Jr., Patrick Martin, Jerry Matthews, Clay Mims, and Kurt Redlin.
