

Mr. Michael Larry Lane, age 66, resident of Orange Beach, AL, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 10, 2015. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles William Lane, Jr. Mr. Lane worked in car sales and management for many years in the Mobile area. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps, receiving the Purple Heart and the Vietnam Service Medal with bronze star, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Honorable Discharge Button and Republic of Vietnam Medal. He was an avid member of a local mystic society. He was a 1967 graduate of Davidson High School. After his retirement Michael enjoyed his life fully at Orange Beach. Michael is survived by his children, Christopher Michael Lane, Terri Lanette Lane, Michael Joseph Lane and Samantha Kay Lipscomb. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Scott Lane, siblings, Darryl E. Lane (Tommie), Beverly Lane Carter, Donna Lane Kolb (Bob), Marcia Lane Turgeau (Steve), Amanda Lane Fultz (Doug), grandchildren, Ethan Grant Lane, Kendall Lane, Hunter Odom, Hannah Odom, Victoria Vaughn, Dalton Vaughn, twelve nieces and nephews and fifteen great-nieces and nephews and other family and friends.. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:30. Funeral service will be held in the Oakleigh Chapel, Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL. Serving as pallbearers will be; Jamie Pipkin, Jacob Pipkin, Eric Turgeau, Billy Harrell, Wade Cooper, Jackson Kolb and Charlie Carter.
