Nettie Ree Poole – a 91 year-old native of Clarke County, AL and resident of Saraland, passed away at an area nursing facility on Wednesday, August 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Poole, and son, Shannon Poole. Mrs. Poole is survived by four children: June Sheffield, Wendell Poole, and Ferrell Poole (Joyce); 12 grandchildren; as well as many great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. Graveside services will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 5, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
