Norma Sue Harris, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was born to William Hutchins and Mary Rushing Hutchins on December 11, 1938, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Sue graduated from Holt High School. She was an avid golfer, and a huge Alabama Football fan. Sue was a long-time member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, James A. Harris; a brother, Ronnie Hutchins (Carolyn); niece, Melissa Bearden (Ricky); great-nephew, Jeremy Bearden (Sara); adoptive daughter and caregiver, Leigh Anne Edens; as well as a host of cherished neighbors and friends.
Visitation for Sue will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
