

Norma loved cooking for her family and always looked forward to hosting Sunday lunch at her house. She made sure everyone left with a full belly and plenty of leftovers. She enjoyed gardening and watching her flowers bloom. When she was younger, Norma liked to knit and make pottery. She really enjoyed shopping and the finer things in life.
Norma loved her family fiercely; her children and grandchildren were her world. She was a caregiver to her daughter for 62 years. She retired from the Mobile County Public School System. She was a true believer and loved God. Norma was a member of Forest Park Bible Church for most of her life where she met her husband. She then joined his Bible Study, Grace Believers Bible Study in 1994. Norma was strong and caring and always put others above herself.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Jimmie Gammage.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 ½ years, Percy Peters; daughter, Carol Peters; son, Chris (Bridgot) Peters; grandchildren, Bryce (Alyris), Baylen, and Baylie; brother, Mickey (Judy) Gammage; sister, Wanda Holbein; and many beloved friends and family.
