Olivia Haywood Harris Parrish

Olivia Harris Parrish, born on May 20, 1920 in Senatobia, Mississippi and was a resident of Mobile, Alabama for the past 70 years, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at a local nursing home at the age of 91. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Tillman’s Corner Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Eric O. Parrish, a local builder in Mobile; her parents, Clinton & Anna Harris; grandson, Mark O. Parrish; one brother and three sisters. She is survived by one son Tommy O. (Jean) Parrish; one daughter, Patricia Ann Parrish (son in law) Ed Sasser. all of Mobile; granddaughters, Debbie (John) Wyszatycki of Virginia, Kathy Parrish of Indiana; one great grandson, Zack Wyszatycki of Virginia and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
