Mr. Reginald Lee Stubbs

Mr. Reginald Lee Stubbs - a native of Burnt Corn, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, August 16, 2010 in a local hospital. Mr. Stubbs was a U.S. Army decorated veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by Gulf Electric Co. for many years, a member of the I.B.E.W. Local #505 for 55 years and a longtime member of Central Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Heacker Stubbs. Survivors include his daughter, Debra Stubbs (Phillip) Hardy; three grandchildren, John Hardy, Crystal H. Reynolds, and Taylor Hardy; and four great-grandchildren, Trae Hardy, Ashton, Quinton, and Rebecca Reynolds. Mr. Stubbs' family wishes to express their appreciation to doctors, nurses and staff of I.C.U. 5 North at Providence Hospital especially Melanie and Pam for their compassionate care of Mr. Stubbs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 998 Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, AL 36605.
