Robert Jenkins Breland, 73, a life-long resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2024. He was born to Douglas Powell Breland, Sr. and Ada Mae Jenkins Breland on March 5, 1951. Bobby was a master handyman – he could fix anything in the house – and was an expert heating and air conditioning technician. He loved a good joke, rock and roll, the blues, and making his special fig bread for friends and family. Bobby especially loved his kitties and puppy dog.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his eldest brother, Douglas Powell Breland, Jr.
He is survived by his brother, Donald Edward Breland; sister, Jo Ann Breland Lord (Tony); along with many wonderful Breland, Farnell, Hughes, and Jenkins relatives; and two good friends, David and Rick.
