Robert E. Jahnke, loving husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully at home with family nearby, two days shy of his 82nd birthday.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie; children Greta (Andy), Colin, and Kindley (Amy); two granddaughters, Amy Lee and Evey; brothers Tom (Mary) and Kit (Heidi); sisters Beverly (Dick) and Jerrie; and a host of cousins.
He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, world traveler, Anglophile and vintage British car aficionado.
A private service was held.
