Robert Sidney Kirk, 97, a long time resident of Mobile, passed away on January 2 , 2014. Sidney was the Director of Civilian Personnel at Brookley Field for many years. He was an avid golfer at Skyline Country Club and was a regular visitor at the Imperial Palace in Biloxi. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 72 years, Lois Kirk. Surviving are his two sons Robert Kirk of Colorado and Dr. Alan Kirk of Georgia. A private memorial service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens for the family who loved him dearly. - Arrangements under the direction of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
