
Ronnie Evans Mock, native of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday the 18th. Ronnie was a member of the Murphy High school class of ’52 where he played baseball. After a stint playing minor league baseball in Montgomery, he went to work for Norfolk-Southern Railroad for 39 and a half years before retiring to care for his wife and mother. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling out on Friday afternoons and watching Florida football. He was proceeded in death by both of his parents and his brother as well as his wife, Kathryn “Chick” Mock, his son Gene Mock, his daughter, Rhonda M. Cosper, and his great-grandson, Jason Cosper Jr. In lieu of flowers, we please ask that you donate to Feeding the Gulf Coast. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church cemetery in Mt. Vernon, AL. He served as an inspiration to those that knew him and will be dearly missed by all. Ronnie E.
