Rupert Leon Hoffman Jr.

Rupert “Leon” Hoffman, Jr. passed away Sunday morning at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with multiple pulmonary diseases. A resident of Mobile, AL, he served honorably in the Unites States Navy prior to beginning a career of business ownership. A passionate businessman, Mr. Hoffman most recently served the Mobile and surrounding areas through his retail and wholesale tire stores. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rupert Leon Hoffman, Sr. and Myrtle Dawson Hoffman, one brother, James Hoffman and his first wife, Susan Lynch Hoffman. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mary “Kat” Lynch Hoffman, two sons, Tony (Cindy) Hoffman, and Todd (Cherise) Hoffman, along with four grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler, Susan and Brady Hoffman. He also leaves to cherish his memory a sister, Peggy (Donell) Mills, a brother, Carl (Teresa) Hoffman, a sister-in-law, Gaile Hoffman, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at a casual visitation on Wednesday from 2pm – 4pm at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL 36606.
