Ruth Agnes Brumfield

Ruth Agnes Brumfield -a native of Cheyenne Hill, AL and a resident of Eight-Mile, AL died January 21, 2011 following a brief illness. Mrs. Brumfield lived for her family and her church. She retired as Director of Medical Records from Searcy Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Malcolm Brumfield; her parents, Jesse and Lola Prine; and her siblings, Albert (Evelyn) Prine, Justa (Harry) Kemp, Elizabeth Prine, Jesse (Pauline) Prine, Jr., Harold (Juanita) Prine, Davis (Louise) Prine, and Foy (Dorothy) Prine. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Charles) Ching and Nancy Brumfield; and her son, Mike Brumfield; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Sage, Music, and Diamond; and many devoted nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, and from 1 P.M. until the funeral service which will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, January 24, 2011 from Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund of Saraland United Methodist Church or Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
