Ruth (Peggy) Roberts Wilson Crane, age 78 and native of Mobile, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 peacefully after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her late husbands William David Wilson, Jr. and Joe Frank Crane; son Charles Anthony Wilson; brother Charles A. Roberts, Jr.; sisters Geneva Davis, Vivian Larson and her parents Charles Allen Roberts Sr. and Ruth Botter Clinton. She is survived by her sons David (Monica) and Mike (Karen) Wilson; stepson Randy (Laurie) Crane along with 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and other family and friends. She was employed for over 20 years as a nurse at a local physician’s office and was a member of several Mardi Gras Organizations. Peggy’s special gift was her compassion for others. She was known for her selfless acts of kindness as she cared for family members and friends in their time of illness and need. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.
