Ruth G. Robinson

.Ruth Gaston Robinson, 77 years old and a lifelong resident of Mobile, passed from this life to life eternal on Wednesday, November 25th. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James A. Robinson, Sr. and son James A. Robinson, Jr., her parents Harry and Ettie Gaston, two older siblings Thomas Gaston and Etta Gaston McNeese. She is survived by her daughters Sharee Robinson Kinard (Mike) and Robin Anne Robinson Seitz (Carl); three grandchildren Carl Edward Seitz, Jr. (Rebecca), a great-grandbaby Seitz due in May, Chelsea Elizabeth Seitz, Charlea Elaine Seitz, a brother and sister-in-law Harry and Jean Gaston, special nieces and nephews, family and friends. Ruth worked with Masonic Youth Organizations for over 30 years, 18 years of which she was Mother Advisor for the Mobile Assembly #3 International Order of Rainbow for Girls. These girls also became her daughters and she was their “Mama Ruth” and loved them dearly. She was an active member of First Independent Methodist Church for years before she became ill and was unable to attend. Ruth was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Ruth will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29th, from 5-8 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home and the Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 30th from the Chapel at 10 AM, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL
