Mr. Shirley Edward Hollingsworth, Jr., a native of Nokomis, FL and resident of Mobile passed away on Monday April 25, 2001 at his residence. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shane Hollingsworth. Survivors include his children, Eddie Hollingsworth (Donna) of Semmes, Susan Owens (David) of Irvington, Bobby Hall (Ilah) of Theodore and Brenda Watson (Tommy) of Mobile, his sisters and brothers Mildred Paris, James Hollingsworth, Doyle Hollingsworth, Tommy Hollingsworth and three sisters who live out of state, his grandchildren Meghan, Steven, Jonathan, Jennifer, Kimberly and Karla and his great grandson Jayden and other relatives. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday April 29, 2011 from the Chapel at 10am.
