

He attended Murphy High School, owned and operated Ted Mosley Painting and Decorating for over 45 years. He will be remembered for giving his life to Christ, his loyalty and devotion to his four children, family members and friends, his love of the sport of Boxing, and his passion for helping troubled teens through the Crichton Optimist Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his sons and sons-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Edward Mosley and Ila Nola Garrett Mosley; five brothers; four sisters; and his grandson, Craig Wilson.
Survivors include four children, Tonya Mosley (Rocky) Kimpel, Teddy (Donita Habick) Mosley, Timmy (Karen) Mosley, and Toni Mosley (Ricky) Wharton; two sisters, Frances Opplinger and Mae Eubanks; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 12 Noon with Pastor John Canning officiating. His son-in-law, Rocky Kimpel, and his dear friends, Carlton Sumlin and Cheffy Reyna will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Honorary pallbearers are Steven Kramer, James Head, Nolan Mosley, Landon Pitalo, Braxton Mosley, and Jordan Orso. Active pallbearers are Marcus Franks, Jimbo Franks, Benny Mosley, Kenny Mosley, Chad Wilson, Ladell Mosley, Heath Sewell, Ricky Wharton, Mickey Killam, and Jeff Eubanks.
