Thomas Emmanuel Crawford

Thomas Emmanuel Crawford - age 24, was granted his angel wings on September 4, 2011. Born October 13, 1986, to Eli & Amanda Crawford, he graduated from Theodore High School in 2005, where he played varsity football throughout his high school years. He lived in Mobile and worked at UO Group with his father for many years. Thomas’ life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Thomas was an avid sports fan, played baseball where his father coached him in park ball at Boykin Park, and lived for the Alabama Crimson Tide, riding his four-wheeler, and no doubt about it, was a Mama's boy. Thomas was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sam & Helen Lott; paternal grandparents, Clarence & Sylvia Crawford; and aunt, Colleen Crawford. Survivors include his parents, Eli & Amanda Crawford; his daughter, Madison Rae Crawford (and her mother, Chantel Stanchio); his only sister, Miranda R. Crawford-Olson (Brian); one nephew, Conner Black (and his father,Chris); his fiance, Felisha Steele and her daughter Makayla; a life-long friends, Scott Jackson and Mandi Gollotte. He's also survived by many friends & relatives, especially his closest cousins, Angela Christoffer (Michael), Brittany & Blake and Candice & Brianna Gonzales. Thomas leaves behind many people whom he made an impression on, whether it be a friend, family member, or co-worker. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 8, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
