Mr. Thomas Gerald “Jerry” Pierce, born on January 11, 1938, in Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his parents, Frank L. and Katherine Higdon Pierce. Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Mid Stevens Pierce; sons, Lynn Pierce and Derek Pierce. He is also survived by three granddaughters, Tabitha, Caitlyn and Hillary Pierce; siblings, Shirley Barakeh, Helen Hilyer, Judy Cooper (Jimmy), Janyne Lankford, Higdon Pierce (Zoie) Terry Pierce; father-in-law, Leonard “Paw Paw” Stevens, brother-in-law Terry Batchelor, sister-in-law, Gwen Batchelor and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pierce will be remembered by his family as a loving, husband, father and grandfather. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery, Snow Road, Mobile, Alabama.
