Thomas Terrell “Tommy” Pike, 76, of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on August 9, 2025. Born on April 19, 1949, in Etowah, Alabama, Tommy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose faith and kindness touched the lives of many.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Markum Pike; his daughter, Tracie DeAnne Pike; parents, Terry Franklin Pike and Lillie Cora Lankford Pike; brothers Ernest Franklin Pike and Aaron Jack Pike; sister Doris Pike Phillips; and their spouses. He is survived by his cherished granddaughter, Sterling Brielle Duke; his brother Bobby Derrell Pike and wife Jo Ann Anderson Pike; sisters-in-law Carolyn Gross Pike and Carol Stewart Pike; brother-in-law Zack Phillips; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A 1967 graduate of Shaw High School, Tommy went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Lee College. Answering a lifelong call to ministry, he became an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God in 2003, faithfully serving the Lord for over two decades.
Tommy’s life was defined by his love for God, his deep devotion to his family, and his passion for horses and traveling. His warm spirit, steadfast faith, and gentle humor will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Solid Rock Church of God on Tanner Williams Road. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
