Timothy Hunt Ahrens

Timothy Hunt Ahrens “Hunt”, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 28, 2023. Hunt was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Edwin John Ahrens, Jr. and Anne Hunt Ahrens on January 3, 1969. He was a graduate of Mobile College, and a devoted employee with CPSI for over 20 years.

To say that Hunt was the salt of the earth is an understatement. He was one of the most kind and generous souls one would ever encounter. He gave selflessly to his family and friends. He was greatly loved by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Ann Doss. Hunt’s love for his family was immeasurable, and he will be greatly missed.

Hunt was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Hunt Ahrens and brother, Edwin John Ahrens, III.

He is survived by the love of his life, Melissa “Missy” Ahrens; son, Noah Martin; father, Edwin John Ahrens, Jr.; brother, William Brand Ahrens; nephews, John William Ahrens and Leighton Brand Ahrens; in-laws, Richard and Ann Doss; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other cherished family and friends.

Hunt’s family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Cottage Hill Baptist Church, with a Celebration of Life immediately following.
