Vivon Earl “V.E.” Rogers, a longtime resident of Semmes, AL, passed away on Monday, surrounded by his family. He retired from Scott Paper after 35 years of service. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Rogers; daughter, Sherry Rogers Walton; son, Tim Rogers (Lori Smith Rogers); sister, Faye Collings; four grandchildren, Amy Walton, Anna Grace (Adam Grace), Colton Rogers and Delaney Rogers; five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7:30 PM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
