

Victor "Scott" Watkins, 69, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 11, 1955, in Mobile, Scott lived a life marked by deep faith, dedication to his craft, and love for his family.
A devout man of God, Scott's faith was the cornerstone of his life. His spiritual strength and commitment to his beliefs guided him through every challenge and triumph. He was a beacon of light to those who knew him, always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a prayer.
Scott was also a talented carpenter and craftsman, with a passion for building and creating. His work can be seen in the countless homes and projects he took on over the years, each piece crafted with care and precision. He took great pride in his work, and it was his joy to see the fruits of his labor bring happiness to others.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Susan Watkins; his daughter, Jessica McCloskey; his son, Jason Williams; and his grandchildren, Bella McCloskey and Aiden McCloskey; sisters, Patti Waldrip, Jeanie Burleson, and Aggie Rainwater. His love for his family was immeasurable, and they will forever cherish the memories they made together.
Scott's life was a testament to hard work, faith, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Family and friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
