Walker Thomas Buckner III

Walker Thomas Buckner, III – a 60 year-old native of Bowling Green, KY and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. He was the former longtime manager for Terry Dees Enterprises and was currently employed with Mobile Fixture. Mr. Buckner was an avid Harley-Davidson rider. He was a wonderful husband and father with a big heart who will always be loved and missed by all who knew him. Mr. Buckner was preceded in death by his father, Walker Thomas Buckner, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Nell Buckner; wife of 13 years, Barbara Buckner; children, Jason Walker Buckner and Debra Kay Middleton; grandchildren, Loren Brook Buckner, Chase Michael Buckner, Alexandrea Middleton and Timothy Middleton; sister, Janice Chilton (Roger) and Julie Lewis (Mike); step-children, Danny Dixon, Eugene Cassity, and Rebecca Rester; dear friends, Terry and Phyllis Dees, Tom Watson, and Walne Donald, Jr.; and his family at Mobile Fixture. A memorial visitation will be held at The Cave Ministries, 10775 Airport Blvd. On Friday, June 27, 2014 from 5pm to 7 pm. The family requests that attire be casual. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Mobile Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
