Walter Doylton Cotton

He was a WWII Navy veteran, who served battle time in the Asiatic Pacific War Zone on Okinawa Beach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Effie Cotton; daughter, Robin Cotton and Eloise Cotton (first wife and mother of Rita Jones and David Cotton).

Survivors are his devoted wife and best friend for 53 years, Dorothy Cotton, other family members are a son, David; two daughters, Rita (Sonny) Jones and Amy Cotton; two sisters, Nell Cullimore of Tremonton, UT and Nina (Dick) Rogers of Layton, UT; grandsons, Griffin Crosby of Huntsville, AL, Jay Jones; granddaughters, Rhonda (Brad) Hartley, Sabrina (Drew) Saucier, Danielle Cotton of Rapid City, SD; great grand-daughters, Ashley Hartley and Ritley Saucier; great grandson, Jax Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Special thanks are extended to his "Golf Friends" at Azalea City Golf Course.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 12 noon in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
