

Wanette graduated from Shaw High School, where she was a proud member of the National Honor Society, and continued her education at both the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College. She dedicated much of her professional life to serving her community through her work in administration for the City of Mobile.
She had a deep love for music, especially songs from the 1960s and 1970s. Loggins and Messina’s “House at Pooh Corner” and Kenny Loggins’ “Celebrate Me Home” were among her favorites, reflecting her gentle spirit and heartfelt connection to home, family, and friendship.
Wanette is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Parmer and Walter Parmer. She was preceded in death by her sister, Suzette Parmer. She was deeply proud of her family and cherished the time spent with her loved ones and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home followed by a burial service at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile Alabama 36605.
Wanette’s warmth, kindness, and love for those around her will never be forgotten.
