William A. “Billy” Darby, age 52 and a lifelong resident of Irvington, AL, passed away on Saturday. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd “Pejoe” Darby Sr.; mother, Sandra “Sandy” Darby; and niece, Devon Griggs Crosswhite. He is survived by three brothers, Floyd P. (Lynn) Darby Jr., James E. Darby, and Robert A. (Saundra) Darby; one sister, Emmy Darby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Bayou La Batre Church of God on Argyle Rd on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 12 pm-2 pm with funeral services beginning at 2pm. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
