Zora Odessa Thomas

Zora Odessa Winstead Thomas – a 97 year-old native of Union, MS, former resident of Mobile, and current resident of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her daughter, Pearlene Eshee; step-daughter, Ruth Smith; and step-son, Pace Burton. She is survived by a son-in-law, Charles Eshee; step-daughter, Juanice Cleveland; grandchildren, Charles Edwin Eshee, Jr. and Madeline Rawe (Mark); great-granddaughter, Jessica Creekmore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Olive Baptist Church, 1836 E. Olive Rd., Pensacola, FL 32514.
