Born in Negroes, Portugal, Ana was the daughter of Virginia Fernandes Cabeleira and Jose Cabeleira. Ana was predeceased by her loving husband Jose Pires. She was employed at Acme United Corporation and worked as an assembler. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Ana enjoyed cooking, singing, and taking care of her family. She will be remembered for her loving devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Ana is survived by her children Luisa, Theresa, Alfredo, Domingos, Diamentino, and Maria, as well as her seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Alfredo, Domingues, and Antonio Cabeleira, her sister Luisa Cabeleira Cristino, and her great-grandson Alex Antonio Albuquerque.
Friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday November 4th, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1282 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Interment will be held privately.
