

Born in Montagna, Reale, Province of Messina, Sicily, he immigrated to the US as a child.
He was a proud Navy Veteran, who fought in WWII in 1944 he was deployed to Pearl Harbor as a CB. Buzz, as he was known to most, started his career after returning from the War, owning and operating a Chevron gas station, later becoming a partner in Liberty Auto and Electric Co in Bpt Ct. Retiring in 1990, he loved watching baseball and football and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Additionally, he was predeceased by his brothers Salvatore and John and sister, Rose Innaco.
He is survived by his daughter Gayle B Yakush (Matthew) son, Anthony J Buzzanca (Annette) Grandchildren, Danielle T Tibbetts (Evan), Anthony J Buzzanca Jr, (Hannah), Vincent M Buzzanca, Cara T Yakush, Cristen M Yakush, Great Grandsons, Aiden and Ashton Tibbetts, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Sunday June 5, 4:00 -6:00 pm Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Tpke , Monroe CT.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday June 6, 2022 at Christ the King Church, Trumbull CT. Interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull CT.
