Arthur was born in Manhattan, NY and raised in Bronx, NY. He was the son of Arthur Edward Schulz Sr. & Isabelle (Favolet) Schulz. Arthur worked & retired from Con Edison of New York. He was a Trouble Shooter and a Shop Steward. He loved his profession. In the days and weeks following 9/11, he was a first responder restoring power in Manhattan. He attended Evander Childs High School & served in the U.S Navy from 1960-1963. Arthur was an avid fisherman for many years and a passionate cigar aficionado. You would find him sharing his love of cigars with his grandson. He was a die hard Mets & Giants fan his whole life. Arthur will be remembered for his “long but short stories" for any situation and his witty sense of humor. Arthur could lighten any moment in a quick second. Arthur was also a HAM Radio operator & his call sign is N1UNS.
He was survived by is loving wife Cheryl Schulz of 52 years, his son Kurt A. Schulz, his daughter Erica Schulz Taylor, future son-in-law Dave J. DiMatteo, grandson Dallas L. Taylor, future granddaughter Brooklyn DiMatteo, sister Charlotte Stroili & many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by both his parents. He loves his family very much and they meant everything to him.
