Donald R. Carty, a Bronx NY native, passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on Tuesday July 31, 2012. He was a retired diesel mechanic for Vallarie Trucking who loved fishing, boating and hunting. He is also a veteran of the US Army. Donald is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Alice Hall Carty. Survivors include his devoted children, Donald E. Carty and his wife Kathy of Bridgeton, NJ, Donna M. Carty and William R. Carty of Ansonia, Ct., 3 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
