Donald E. Spencer, age 61, passed away suddenly November 18th at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was born in Chicago on October 15, 1949 to the late Earl Spencer and Helen Pliska Spencer. He was raised in Texas as well as Bridgeport along with his twin brother Dennis and younger brother Richard.
Donald was the owner of Spencer Contracting, specializing in residential and commercial buildings.
He was the beloved husband of Mary (Pat) Spencer, father to Donald (Bill) Spencer and in addition to his brother’s Dennis and Richard he is also survived by his brother, Joseph Tamas. He was predeceased by his sister Paula.
His family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 3-7 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home , 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM with burial immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
