Doug was born in Williamsport, PA on March 14, 1963, to Frank (Skip) and Joyce Dunlap Crossley of Jersey Shore, PA. Doug attended Long River Middle School and graduated from Naugatuck (CT) High School in 1981. He was a carpenter with Local 326 and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Naugatuck.
In addition to his parents, Doug is survived by two sons: Thomas Crossley and William Crossley, both of Beacon Falls; his fiancé Litskey Yadan, his brother Christopher (Kateri) Crossley of Thomaston, and his sister Lisa Vecchitto (Sal Civale) of Orange; nieces Amber Vecchitto, Molly and Ella Crossley and nephews Joshua Owen and Brian (Kiare) Vecchitto. Also surviving are his aunts Jennifer (Lenny) Carson of Pennsylvania, Cindy DeParlo and Christine Fontenot and uncle William Mundell, along with several cousins in Pennsylvania, as well as his former wife Pattie Crossley and many dear friends.
Friends are invited to call Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 3pm - 7pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, May 17 at 11am at the Beacon Falls Congregational Church, 69 Wolfe Avenue, Beacon Falls. Burial to immediately follow at Pinesbridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls.
