

Frank Volpe Jr., age 87 of Monroe, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 at home. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on August 12th, 1925, the son of the late Frank and Jennie (Susi) Volpe. He was a resident of Monroe for 18 years. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired employee of Connecticut Light and Power. He was predeceased by his wife Raye, and sisters Angie Lucas, Rose Milano and Jean Colangelo. His loving family includes his three daughters, Lynda Plourde and her husband Roger of Woodbury, Frances Ciuffreda and her husband Angelo of South Carolina, and Susan Domogala and her husband Robert of Trumbull; six grandchildren Michael Ciuffreda and his wife Tracey of South Carolina, Robert Domogala of Milford, Alex Pittu of Bridgeport, Debra Bennett and her husband Jeff of Southington, Jennifer Pittu of Milford and Joseph Domogala and his wife Melissa of West Haven; two great grandchildren Patrick and Emily Bennett; sisters Viola Callahan of Milford and twin sister Jennie Santoro of Trumbull and Ernest Volpe of Boca Raton, Florida.
Services and interment will be private and the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Frank’s memory to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spadaccino and Leo P.
