I met Gail in early nineties in Tampa Bay.  She was an oil painter.  I admired her paintings and she agreed to tutor me.   I always dabbled in drawing and painting and in 1970's while living in upstate New York I began using oil pastels.  Under Gail's tutelage I started  using oils.  She taught me how to get different effects using brushes.  We met weekly for twenty years and with her encouragement in that period I completed some fifty canvases.  She was able to show me techniques that enabled me to paint far better than before.

Gail was a dancer and she was also an actress she played and danced in amateur productions in Tampa Bay.  She became an integral part of my life.   I'll never forget her.
