Jorge Gonzales, age 71, of Shelton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 9, at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jorge was born in Peru, and came to the U.S. In 1971. He was the owner of a successful business, Seaview Auto Sales and Service for over 30 years before retiring 3 years ago. Jorge was a loving husband, devoted father and a hard worker. He loved music, dancing, soccer and traveling, but most importantly, his family. Jorge is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, son Jorge P. (Jomarie) Gonzales and daughter, Jaqueline (Kurt) Soltis, three grandchildren, George, Jalissa, and Jordan and his extended family in CT and Peru. To all who knew him, Jorge was "One in a Million" and will be greatly missed. Friends may greet the family on Sunday, February 14, from 2-6pm at Spadaccino's Funeral Home 315 Monroe Tpk, Monroe. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 15, 10:30 am at St. Joseph's church in Shelton.
