Joyce Frances Danscuk

Joyce Frances Danscuk (Chapman), age 88 of Monroe, passed away peacefully Monday March 6, 2017. Joyce was born on August 14, 1928 in Elizabeth, NJ; daughter of the late Clinton and Margaret Nolan Chapman. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John "Dan" Danscuk. She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her four children and their spouses, Diane Danscuk-Ball and Alan Ball of Park Orchards Victoria, Australia, Barbara Francis of Toms River, NJ, John Danscuk of Monroe, and Thomas and Robin Danscuk of Freehold, NJ; four grandchildren, Sara Francis, Eric Ball, Christopher Danscuk Miller, and Jarod Danscuk; sister, Peg Chandler and her daughter Sherrel Carvalho. She was a dear aunt and great-aunt to several nieces and nephews and a generous friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. Joyce and Dan began their young family in Winfield, NJ. Moving to Monroe in 1967, they became longtime and active members in their community and Saint Jude Parish Church. The family takes comfort in knowing that Joyce and Dan are back together dancing to "It Had to Be You."

Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 12 from 4-8pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 13, 10:00 am at Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church, 707 Monroe Tpke. (Route 111), Monroe.
