Patti's departure leaves a profound void in our lives, yet we celebrate her amazing life that was filled with joy and love.
Born on March 18th, 1950, Patti Hliva was a remarkable woman whose presence radiated warmth, love, and compassion. She was a beloved wife to Jim Hliva, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, a loving sister, and a cherished friend. Patti's unwavering love and generosity touched the lives of many, and her legacy of kindness will endure through generations.
Throughout her life, Patti brought the joy of life to whomever she met, whether it was in the grocery store sharing an anecdote with a complete stranger or to her friends and family. Her acute sense of humor made it impossible to be with her for more than ten minutes without laughing out loud. Ever energetic and enthusiastic, she was a born dancer whose bright blue eyes lit up whenever her favorite songs played and once you met her, you never forgot her. She possessed a gentle spirit and a heart overflowing with empathy, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her selflessness and compassion knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire us all.
Patti found immense joy in the wonders of travel, particularly in her love for the beach and the soothing embrace of ocean air. Whether it was strolling along sandy shores or listening to the rhythmic waves, Patti found solace and peace in the beauty of nature's wonders.
In addition to her love for travel, Patti cherished moments spent with her family, embracing the rhythms of music, and dancing with infectious joy. She adored her five grandchildren, David and Will Jutcawitz, Zoë, Lumen, and Farrah Moore, and her love for them knew no bounds. Patti could often be seen celebrating with them during holidays and at many of their special events, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Anna, and Joseph Greco. She is survived by her husband Jim Hliva, her son and daughter-in-law David and Meranda Jutcawitz, her daughter Heather Moore, her son-in-law Haven Moore, her sister Joanne Rochman, and her brother-in-law Pierre Rochman and nephews Pierre and Noel Rochman. Their love and support were pillars of strength for Patti throughout her life.
