Patricia Jane Rychlik

Patricia Jane (McNamara) Rychlik of Monroe, CT, born January 16, 1935 in Shelton, Connecticut, the second of three children of James McNamara and Alice (Cadoret) McNamara, “Pat” entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2015. She was a Shelton resident until she married her only love of her life and devoted husband of 54 years, Albert Rychlik. Pat and Al had the great fortune to have lived a life together full of happiness. Pat was a great and gracious lady, loved by all who knew her. She was proud to be a wife, mother and grandmother. Pat was caring, nurturing, loving, sensitive, understanding, compassionate, insightful, intelligent and thought always of others and never of herself. She never complained, no matter the medical challenges she endured especially those for the past six months. She is survived by her husband Albert of Monroe, CT, son Carl, also of Monroe, son Tom and his wife Daisy and their daughter Carolina of Naugatuck, CT, daughter Mary Brennan and her husband Dave and their son Luke of Larchmont, NY and son Rob and his wife Ly of Milford, CT. She also leaves a sister Mary McNamara of Annapolis, MD, cousin; Carol Tierney and her husband Frank of Shelton, CT, sister in law Marilyn McNamara of Manchester, MO and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother James McNamara of Manchester, MO. Her passing leaves a tremendous void in our lives. She is sorely missed. May God bless her, His newest Angel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 11th at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, July 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike Monroe.
