Stephanie Simmons was a caring and compassionate woman, and a long time resident of Monroe and Shelton, Connecticut. She died unexpectedly at Bridgeport Hospital on December 11, 2021 at the age of 83.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Klein and step-son, Edward Simmons. Along with her grandchildren, Nicole Lilly, Christina Klein, and Michael Simmons, and her son-in-law, Adrian Klein. She is predeceased by her son, Kevin Simmons and daughter, Karen Simmons.
Stephanie retired from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in 1999 and in her later years, she worked as a caregiver for the Senko family. Special thanks to Denise Senko.
No matter what struggles Stephanie went through, she always remained positive and had a smile on her face. She always had the time to talk and to make you feel special.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 16, at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton, CT.
