Vittoria immigrated to the United States in 1972. She worked at Howie Buckle Shop as an assembler for many years until her retirement. She came to the US to be closer to her children. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren fiercely, unconditionally, and with her whole heart. They were her greatest joy. When she spoke about them, her face light up like a child on Christmas morning.
She was the matriarch of her family. She helped raise her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. This is a memory that her family will cherish forever. Her hobbies included gardening and cooking for her family. Her specialty was making homemade pizzas, baking her taralli, and making polenta. Vittoria also loved her soap operas, especially “The Bold and the Beautiful.” She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy which she referred to as “Japanize.” Vittoria enjoyed the outdoors and loved to soak up the sun whenever she had the chance. This she passed along to her grandchildren.
Although she is no longer physically here, her spirit will live on with her family who will cherish her memory forever. Her smile and infectious laugh will never be forgotten.
