Carolyn Louise Akers-Lunn, of Monroe, WA passed away on January 6, 2026 at the age of 84. She was born August 27, 1941 in Everett, WA. Carolyn was raised in Monroe. She lived in Lake Stevens for a while, moved to Twisp, then later Enumclaw, and finally back home to Monroe. She enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her family and friends. Carolyn is survived by her sister Sandra Dyer (Don) of Vancouver, son-in-law David Potts of Monroe, granddaughter Lacy Johnson, and great-grandchildren Brycen Prater, Mason Knowles, Yesenia Arias, and Demeri Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband (whom she had worked alongside for many years) Paul “Punky” Lunn, her daughter Loretta Potts, infant son Randy Ernest Lunn, her sister Luana Gayle Akers, granddaughter Shelby Arias, and her parents Ernest and Louise Akers.
